The Ettan Snus Brand of today
Ettan is one of Swedens best-selling snus brands. Registered almost 200 years ago, it is also Swedens oldest food product brand name. Ettan, which has kept its original taste since 1822, has a classic tobacco flavour and its ingredients list is short - tobacco, salt and water. Ettan original portion was launched in 1990 and Ettan white portion was launched in 2006
Ettan of today is one of the premier smokless and spitless options to cigarettes. Swedish Match are seeing sales rise dramatically as snus is making it's way around the world as a healthier option to other tobacco products.
Ettan contains nothing but tobacco, water and salt. The original forumla also included ash but this has been removed in the Ettan of today, other than that, the recipe is exactly the same as it always has been. Tobacco in it's purest form.
In late 1822 Ljunglöf developed a brand new snus recipe which would end up being one of the oldets product trademarks in Swedish corporate history – Ettan. The can looks the same as it did almost 200 years ago and it has kept true to it's tradition in both flavour and design. Ettan is still one of the best selling brands in production.
It comes in three different varieties – Ettan Loose, Ettan Portion and Ettan White Portion. Also perhaps as Ettan Snoose, Ettan Snuss och Ettan Snusse which are common misspellings in the USA and Germany;-)
Ettan Loose
A very full bodied, slightly smokey and unseasoned taste of tobacco.
Contents: 45 grams of loose snus per can. Water (approximately 52%), Tobacco, Humectant, Flavor enhancer, Acidity regulators, Flavor enhancers (salt), Flavor substances including smoke flavor.
Nicotine: Approximately 8 milligrams/gram.
Ettan Portion
A very full bodied, slightly smokey and unseasoned taste of tobacco.
Contents: 24 grams of portion snus at 1 gram per portion. Water ( approximately 50%), Tobacco, Humectant, Acidity regulators, Flavor enhancers (salt), Flavor substances including smoke flavor.
Nicotine: Approximately 8 milligrams/gram.
Ettan White Portion
A full bodied, slightly smokey and unseasoned taste of tobacco. Less moist than the regular portion.
Contents: 24 grams of portion snus at 1 gram per portion. Water ( approximately 50%), Tobacco, Humectant, Acidity regulators, Flavor enhancers (salt), Flavor substances including smoke flavor.
Nicotine: Approximately 8 milligrams/gram.
